Roofing Contractor in Bergenfield, NJ

Yes. Bergenfield is a few minutes from our Englewood office and one of the towns we serve regularly.

Complex roof lines usually mean more valleys and transitions, which does affect materials and labor. We will walk the whole roof and give you one written price that accounts for it, not a surprise later.

Every valley where two roof planes meet got ice-and-water membrane along with the new synthetic underlayment before any shingles went on, because a valley is where two planes channel water together. We also installed new flashing and pipe boots at every penetration and wherever a roof plane meets the siding, rather than reusing the old metal. The shingles were then laid consistently across every section so the planes read as one roof.

A full tear-off across several roof planes produces a lot of old shingle, nails and underlayment. On the Bergenfield job we cleaned up the whole property once the roof was finished and ran a magnetic sweep across the yard and driveway to pick up stray nails. Cleanup is part of the job, and the goal is a lawn and driveway with nothing left behind from the old roof.
